There is a story that is in Dragon Nest and it is one that I actually got really invested in. I love fantasy and the story of Dragon Nest is like something out of an epic fantasy movie. The goddess known as Althea has been poisoned by her evil sister. You are needed to find the cure and the only way you can do that is by searching the land, the dungeons and killing about a million dungeons.
Pick Your Class
Dragon Nest has many different classes for you to choose from like, Warrior, Archer, Sorcerer, Cleric, Kali, Academic, and Assassin. What is really cool is that as you progress through the game and level up you can then pick a subclass for your character. So if you are playing as a Warrior for example then you can choose Barbarian, Destroyer or Moon Lord as your subclass. Each class has different subclasses and each one offers its own advantages in the heat of battle.Another neat thing about having so many different classes is that the class you pick will alter the story. As I liked the story this actually made me want to play as different classes so I could see what was different from their point of view.
Fight, Fight, Fight!
The combat in Dagon Nest does not play like your traditional MMO style game. I would, in fact, say that it plays far more like a console 3rd person hack and slash style game! There is a lot of skill in play here and the people behind the game did this on purpose and have done so that lower level players if they are skilled enough, can put up a fight and perhaps even defeat a higher level opponent. I know that some people are put off by a game like this that has clicking combat or turn based combat. That is what makes Dragon Nest such a fun game, the combat is truly exciting and each battle you are in is a lot of fun.
There Is So Much To Do
The amount of quests for you to do in Dragon Nest is just crazy! There are a ton and I mean a ton of different quests for you to do and dungeons for you to explore. I was honestly never bored while playing this game. I did have more fun with the PvE as I found going on quests and helping other players suited my playstyle more. Still, as the game evens out things a bit in PvP I did feel like I had a fighting chance.
Dragon Nest is one of the biggest MMO franchises of all time with movies, toys and a few mobile games released as well. If you have long thought that MMORPG style games are not for you, but you have wanted to try one out. I really do not think there is a better one to try out than Dragon Nest. It is fast paced, easy to get into and it features some of the most fun and exciting combat of any MMO I have played.
